Welcome to the home of the RSPB Moments competition, where you can share some of your special nature and wildlife moments and tell others how they have made you feel truly part of your environment.

Moments can be described as 'connecting with nature in an unexpected way', and could be interpreted in any way, from waves crashing on the shore to a simple brush with nature in your back garden.

Simply upload a photograph which encapsulates your moment and tell us how you felt when you took the shot.

Top prize
One lucky winner will receive a cottage break worth £1000 with English Country Cottages. There is a wide selection of the finest cottages to choose from across England and Wales from a cosy cottage in the heart of the countryside to a stunning coastal property with access to the beach.

Runner up prize
Five runners up will be rewarded with an amazing Nikon digital SLR camera.

Highly commended
20 further entrants will receive an 18x12 print of their choice, from a selection of gorgeous RSPB Images.
